Provide Drawings or Sample Information First
If you have 2D or 3D drawings, include them with your inquiry. If drawings are not available, send clear photos, key dimensions and how the part will be used.
Important dimensions, thread details, tolerances and assembly conditions help the team avoid assumptions during process review.
Share Quantity and Finish Expectations
Order quantity affects tooling, process selection and unit cost. A prototype order, a small batch and repeat production may need different recommendations.
Surface finish is also important. Polishing, plating, antique brass finishing, sandblasting and other secondary operations should be included in the RFQ when they affect the final appearance or function.
Mention Testing and Destination Market
